Yes, I think the Afghanistan war is another Vietnam. The Vietnam War went on for eleven years, and the Afghanistan war has been going on nine almost ten years. They’re almost the same amount of time. The Afghanistan war could pass the Vietnam time record, they’re saying. If this does happen, it will be the longest war in U.S. history!
We are fighting in a difficult terrain. This is similar to the Vietnam War. We can’t fight like that, if we want to win. I doubt we will catch Osama Bin Laden anytime soon. The war I think is really pointless from my point of view. All we are doing is having our men getting killed. We need them back home to their families where they are safe. We need to pull out now before it gets a lot worse. It’s really pointless.. |
